Do you have transfer credits? • These are listed by institution on your unofficial transcript • AP/IB credits • Contact Admissions {351-2881} if credits are not listed • A grade of ‘C’ or higher will transfer • Transfer grades do not calculate into UNC GPA
You can take courses at a community college • See the Community College Guaranteed Transfer Agreement form • www.unco.edu/ISET/forms • Transcripts should be sent to Admissions • Must have a ‘C’ for course to transfer • Credits transfer; grades do not

GPA is Very Important! • 2.75 cumulative GPA is needed to register for many PTEP courses • 3.0 cumulative GPA is required for placement: • Literacy Practicum • Student Teaching * To calculate your GPA Follow the directions on the GPA Prediction Worksheet

Teacher Employment Days • Teacher Employment Days (TED) April 5 & 6 • More than 100 school districts from approximately 14 states will be represented • First-hand opportunity to observe the process of teacher candidate interviews • Volunteers are needed in numerous areas: • Greeting • Refreshments • Directions/information * Details will be sent via the Listserv
