CHQ Parent Information Sessions These sessions will be an introduction to the system. Please bring an iphone or ipad if you have one. Monday 9th June – Parents from Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2) at 1:30p.m – 2:30pm in Raffles Theatre. Tuesday 10th June 2014 – Parents from Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6) at 11:00a.m – 12:00pm in Raffles Theatre. Wednesday 11th June 2014 – Parents from Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 & 9) at 11:00a.m – 12:00pm in Raffles Theatre. Thursday 12th June 2014 – Parents from Key Stage 4 (Years 10 & 11) at 4:00p.m – 5:00pm in Raffles Theatre. Friday 13th June 2014 – Parents from Key Stage 5 (Years 12 & 13) at 3:00p.m – 4:00pm in Raffles Theatre.

User Credentials Log-in details are STUDENT user credentials – there will be NO separate parent log-in. Secondary students will use their current details but Primary students will receive their usernames/passwordsin August. You may use your child’s CURRENT details until 1st August 2014.

PLEASE always check the ‘Personal Information’ box first so that you know we have your CORRECT details. If your email is incorrect, you will not receive an activity confirmation letter, for example. Check the other tabs for next of kin and medical details. FOR ANY CHANGES, PLEASE CONTACT THE PRIMARY & SECONDARY OFFICES.
Click the ‘-’ box (again on the left of the Personal Information box) to bring you back to the Profile page . Open up the ‘My Activities’ box to reveal: (view/manage/submit activity choices)

Please follow the instructions and enter your preferences of ‘1’, ‘2’ and ‘3’ in the desired box. Once you have completed the forms, save and then submit.
Once you have saved AND submitted your choices, this message will appear. Whilst Activity Registration remains open, you can go back and repeat the process if you would like to change your options. Once REGISTRATION CLOSES however, choices are final.
Confirmation Letters - Emails After Activity Registration closes, we will have an ADMINISTRATION PERIOD where we will allocate activities by RANDOMISATION. An email notification or CONFIRMATION EMAIL will be sent out to parents and students. Therefore meaning an end to paper Confirmation Letters
Using CHQ – what does this mean? Communication Emailing to activity/year/class/house groupscan be done at the click of a button Information (medical/emergency) is there for us instantly, should we need it Activity Registration • Teachers/providers will now take activity registers using their computers/ipads/iphones • Activities staff will know instantly who is absent • CHQ is linked to our morning register so we know who to expect at our activities
Using CHQ – what does this mean? Changing an activity Changes can ONLY be made through the Activities Office AFTER the AMINISTRATION PERIOD. Therefore after all other students have been confirmed in their chosen activities Payments • Will be made to the Finance Office AFTER you have received your CONFIRMATION EMAIL • If payments have not been received within the first week, you will receive a reminder email – then after the second week they may have to be taken off the activity
