USAF Security Forces Familiarization Course* The USAF SFFC is an Air Force hosted event that will allow 20 Civil Air Patrol cadets the opportunity to experience the Security Forces career field firsthand. Cadets will participate in law enforcement/security training, military working dog program, small arms weapons familiarization, antiterrorism/force protection and emergency services response. Additionally, they will receive orientation with the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (OSI), the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Applicants must be at least 15 years old prior to the start of the activity and have successfully completed an encampment (prior NCSA experience is also preferred) Applicants should apply using a CAP Form 31 and include a short essay explaining why they would like to attend the course Applications must have Wing Commander’s approval to be considered Application deadline is 1 October 2009 Activity Fee is $400.
