  3. CCG Update • SDCCG Priorities - Services for older people - Development of local services - Mental health - Urgent care • The ‘Golden Threads’ - Reducing inequalities in health is a principle that we see as a ‘golden thread’ running through all of our priorities - Support for carers

  4. CCG Update • SDCCG supporting the development of HealthWatch - Established in October 2012, transition from LINkS - HealthWatch to signpost people to information about health and social care services. - Department of Health will allocate funding to local authorities for the new responsibilities when they transfer to local HealthWatch.

DAC Locality Update • 20 practices, 168k population, inner city practices, high levels of deprivation • Engagement – how to sustain - Strategic leads - Practice visits - Locality meetings • Locality Priorities - Alcohol and drugs services - Engagement with seldom heard communities - Health visiting, Community Matrons and District Nurses - Mental health services - PPGs.. ..and lots more!!
