  2. Brief Summary It’s about a kid named Percy and his life is pretty miserable. He’s been kicked out of a lot of boarding schools, and he hasn’t ever met his real dad. He starts to discover he has awesome talents, and that he is part of something big, and things are going to get a lot worse.

  3. Point of view The point of the view is from Percy.

  4. Conflicts Percy has a conflict with the other half-bloods. Percy and monsters Percy and Annabeth Percy and the Titan

  5. Main characters Percy • Direct Characterization- he talks about himself within the story. • Indirect Characterization- Mr. Brunner said, "Percy you’re the son of Poseidon”

  6. Dislike/like I like how the author makes you want to read more when he has cliffhangers. I dislike how the characters change in each book.

  7. Literary Devices • Imagery-”Her red-white-and-blue Sweet and America uniform smelled like the best things in the world: chocolate, licorice, and all the other stuff she sold at the candy shop in Grand Central”
