3. Adventurous • I picked this word because it really does describe Percy and how he goes to rescue his mother from Hades. • The word is positive. • “Percy look out!” • The phrase illustrates the trait because look out he was somewhere fighting to get to his mother.

Impulsive • I picked this trait for my character because he is ADHD and Dyslexia the person that was in charge of the camp he was told him that those were his greatest battle strategies ADHD because he can’t stay still it will help him in a fight. Dyslexia because he can read Greek. • The phrase that represents this trait is “with a shriek I lunged away from it.” This phrase represents the trait because he lunged most people would just stand there and look at the monster that is coming at them.

5. Brave • I picked this trait because he is brave he found out that Hades had his mom, he thought she was dead. He wanted to go after hades and get his mom back. Hades is the god of the underworld he is immortal you can’t kill a immortal god. If you ask me that’s pretty brave. • The phrase I picked for this trait was “Chiron I have to go get her from Hades.” By the way Chiron is the person that’s in charge of camp half-blood this phrase relates to the trait because he has no fear when he says it.

6. First significant event • The first conflict that Percy Jackson faced was when Mrs. Dodds Percy’s substitute teacher for history took him into a room when they went for a field trip to the museum to learn about the Greek gods and goddesses. She disappeared when Percy said “Did I do something wrong?” When Percy started looking around she was on a high shelf and she screamed “Where is it!” She turned into a fury. A fury is a demon type bird thing that was sent by Hades to take Percy. Percy killed that thing then they sent him to a camp called “Camp Half-Blood.

7. Second significant event • The further complication was that Percy didn’t know what was going on. He didn’t know that he was Poseidon's son. He didn’t know what that thing was that attacked him, he didn’t know what it was talking about, a lightning bolt. He kept asking around. Good thing he had a friend named Grover who was with him all his life. Grover is really his protector, His mom was taken. How you ask? Well the camp has a barrier that surrounds it, but it doesn’t let mortals like Percy’s mom in it. They were being chased by a minotaur, it’s a monster Half man, Half bull. The thing sent Percy’s mom to the underworld to be kept prisoner till Percy brings the blot, but Percy didn’t have it.

8. Third significant event • Percy changes. He had experienced a life threatening situation. He has changed because he was a jerk to his mom because she married a guy his name is Gabe who smells funny, treats her like crap all the time. Percy didn’t know that his mom married Gabe because it would cover their sent so they wouldn’t be found by any monsters. He didn’t know that until Chiron told him at camp. He felt bad then went a rescued her after the day was over. He found out that his mother was alive. How you ask? All the campers that stayed at Camp Half-Blood had a bomb fire that night and Hades appeared in it told Percy to give him the bolt and he would give Percy his mom.
