Introduction to scripture Description Delivery When: September – December Module Code: (REST07010) Credits: (15) Cost: €400 • This topic offers an introduction to the content and contexts of the scriptures of several major religions, with particular focus on the Judaeo-Christian tradition.
Questions of faith & revelation Description Delivery When: September – December Module Code: (REST07011) Credits: (15) Cost: €400 • This topic offers understanding of the content and development of the concepts of faith and revelation within the Christian tradition, the relationship of faith to revelation, and the revelatory claims of several major religions.
INTRODUCTION TO WORLD RELIGIONS Description Delivery When: January – April Module Code: (REST07009) Credits: (15) Cost: €400 • This topic offers an introduction to key concepts and principles in a range of world religions, looking also at the phenomenon of religious pluralism, and the relationship between religious identity and cultural identity.
Understanding faith & culture Description Delivery When: January – April Module Code: (REST07013) Credits: (15) Cost: €400 • This topic offers an understanding of the relationship between faith and culture, the functions and functioning of culture, and the roles of religion as a (sub-)culture.
