  2. Per quanto riguarda la tazzina di caffè, 140 litri l'acqua sono necessari per far crescere, tostare e macinare 6-7 grammi di caffè. 60 litri di acqua per produrre 1 kg di carta. Per fabbricare una bottiglietta di plastica in cui si compra l’acqua ne sono stati consumati altri 4 litri. Per crescere il cotone necessario a fabbricare una maglietta, 2 900 litri. 11 000 litri d’acqua per produrre 1 paio di jeans.
