Our vision is to provide equitable access to educational opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities, setting high expectations to prepare them for future success. We believe in shared responsibility, accountability, and collaboration, supported by a strong core curriculum, high-quality instruction, unbiased assessment, and universal design for learning. Our school culture promotes inclusivity and fosters positive relationships for everyone to thrive.

  2. OSE Vision Statement Every student, including those with disabilities, is held to high expectations and has equitable access to educational opportunities that enrich lives and prepare students for future success.

  3. Equitable access must be accompanied by a school wide acceptance or belief in shared responsibility, shared accountability and high expectations. Improving outcomes also requires a strong core curriculum, high quality instruction, unbiased assessment that guides instruction, and collaboration. Multi-tiered systems of support and universal design for learning provide the foundation necessary to reach the overall goal.

  4. School Quality Factor Healthy Culture The shared values, beliefs, written and unwritten rules, assumptions and behaviors of stakeholders within the school community that shape the school’s social norms and create opportunities for everyone to be successful.

  5. AdvancED Standard 1.4 The governing authority establishes and ensures adherence to policies that are designed to support organizational effectiveness.

  6. AdvancED Standard 1.5 The governing authority adheres to a code of ethics and functions within defined roles and responsibilities.

  7. AdvancED Standard 1.9 The institution provides experiences that cultivate and improve leadership effectiveness.

  8. AdvancED Standard 2.2 The learning culture promotes creativity, innovation and collaborative problem-solving.

  9. AdvancED Standard 2.3 The learning culture develops learners’ attitudes, beliefs and skills needed for success.

  10. AdvancED Standard 2.4 The institution has a formal structure to ensure learners develop positive relationships with and have adults/peers who support their educational experiences.
