Saul was the first king of Israel. Chosen to unite the tribes and provide protection and guidance to the nation, he was often overmatched by the circumstances and personalities surrounding him. After losing God's blessing and failing to establish a stable dynasty, he died in battle against Israel's enemies.

Solomon, the son of King David and Bathsheba, was the third king of Israel. Solomon was renowned for his wisdom, wealth and for his construction projects, building temples. Israel enjoyed an era of security, prosperity, and international political and economic importance under Solomon.

They were ship builders who controlled Mediterranean shipping and trade. One very important achievement – alphabet. Very powerful people. • Battle of Jericho – Joshua told the Israelites to march around the city walls while trumpeters blew their horns. On 7th day - the walls crumble and the Israelites took control of Canaan.
