  1. Lincster new sign-up system How to use the new Golf Genius link to: Sign-up and Cancel, see Pairings, and Sweeps (Results)

  2. What you see now on the Lincster9ers site • Everything in drop down box will be on Golf Genius. • This box will be Replaced by a single link to our Golf Genius page with instructions and the LINK to the new system

  3. What you see when you link to new site The GREEN horizontal stripe has menu items to be explained later. You SIGN ON by selecting your name from the drop down and clicking on NEXT Notice that current open play days are listed (called Rounds)

  4. Signing in by selecting your name and clicking NEXT

  5. What you see: list of open Rounds Contents: All upcoming play days (Rounds) and dates: usually 3 / 4 Round names will be descriptive! YOUR signup status for each Round -Option to sign-up -Option to Cancel -Option to sign-up other players (1-3) Note: HELP tab on right shows email addresses of managers

  6. If click on “sign up” • Your status changes to Green • The message shows up on the bottom of the page • An email is sent to you as confirmation. • The Email will give you the option to CANCEL directly from the email. • An option to EMAIL manager appears at bottom! • “CONTINUE” button appears at bottom

  8. Maybe add another Lincster or guest? If you had clicked on “other players” Scroll to bottom of page to see your options: * Another player * A guest • follow the instructions on the page…. • “SAVE” if done • “SAVE and Add”… if not

Now lets see what’s on that GREEN STRIPE • HOME - The signup stuff • Tee Sheets - Choose the Round, then see : Who’s signed up / PAIRINGS • Results - SWEEPS, Putt Pool, Closest to the pin for latest Round • Statistics - not yet used • Social - not yet used • Funny looking gear emoji - sign off and site info

When and How • Link to Golf Genius page on Lincster Website by TONIGHT (March 13). • Continue to use OLD system to sign up for remainder of March dates. • Use EITHER or BOTH systems to sign up for April 3. • On March 31st, any sign-ups for April 3 on OLD system will be transferred into the new system if not already there. • For play dates after April 3: ONLY new system sign-ups will be used. • Lincster Website access to old sign-up pages will not show any dates after April 3 and will be GONE by April 6.

Understanding • PLEASE BE PATIENT • The team will be doing their best to make this work perfectly and have timely postings. • If you get confused on the site: • DON’T WORRY, you can’t break anything • Look around on the page to see that you are on the right ROUND…watch for the dropdown menus of Round Name • Contact Sharon, Linda, or Marie if you need help. • You do NOT have to SIGN OUT, but if you do, the system will ask you to “SELECT YOUR NAME” the next time you link to the site.

Biggest differences • FYOF • Sign-up together…ie one member signs up the foursome and marks to “playing with Host” box • Check Tee Sheets for those signed up and then sign-up and send message to Manager to “play with” someone • After Sunday, check TEE SHEETS for pairings to verify. • SWEEPS, a more equitable way to award $$$ • Not split by ABCD (ABCD still to be used for Seasonal Rewards, tbd details) • Split to 4 equal groups of the PLAYERS for THAT DAY

  16. GALS and MAMAS • What’s the difference? • EMAIL SIGN-UPS with info as to Course and Tee Times • New Link to a DIFFERENT League ---- RED BANNER • Round name will indicate GAL or MAMA and Course • Conversion will probably be near the end of April • Just SIGNUPS and PAIRINGS….No Results
