D’Amico, Jim Smith • Mission Statement: Finalize Roles and responsibilities for the supply chain planning of Mold Plate Kits • Background: The team needs to clarify the roles and responsibilities on all of the different decision points involved with selling mold plate kits from the Brazil office • Project Goals: Establish process flow and defined roles and responsibilities between Brazil and Mokena • Project Plan and Deliverables: Identify the key responsible party and the frequency of these activities • Planning - Reviewing and forecast future mold plates sales quantity in South America • Planning - Forecast expected customer mold plate thicknesses • Planning – Adjust the Brazil inventory to meet this plan and create stocking orders • Customer Orders - In the quoting process, ensure that where possible, the customer is driven to an existing mold plate thickness • Customer Orders - For these individual “Custom” thickness orders, make the manufacturing decisions on how and where they would be make (Mokena, Brazil), to what level (Rough, Ground or Finished) and the appropriate lead times to communicate to the customer • Customer Orders – For the final quote, make the decision on final pricing and lead time commitments to customers • Customer Orders – Coordinate the delivery dates with the customer for each of the mold plates • Risks None
