  2. Mecca Mecca is the birth place of muhammed . It is Known as the holiest city in Islamic Religon. The Haji is held there every year it is a famous Islamic Pilgramage. It population is 1.7 million. The haij held in the ninth muslim lunar month of ramadan

  5. The pilgrimage to Mecca attracts millions of people. The pilgrimage is called the Haij. It is held once a year. You have to fast during this festival The Haji must be performed once in a lifetime.

  7. Mecca is situated in Saudi Arabia. It is a city in the Hijaz. The city is located 73 km inland from Jeddah in a narrow valley at a height of 277 m above sea level. Its resident population in 2008 was 1.7 million, although visitors more than double this number every year during Ramadan. Mecca is regarded as the holiest city in the religion of Islam and a pilgrimage to it known as the Hajj is obligatory upon all able Muslims.
