On Sunday morning, a tiny, very hungry caterpillar was born from an egg on a leaf laying the sun.
On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry.
On Tuesday he ate through two pears. But he was still hungry.
On Wednesday he ate through three plums. But he was still hungry.
On Thursday he ate through four strawberries. But he was still hungry.
On Friday he ate through five oranges. But he was still hungry.
And… That night he had a stomach ache!
On Sunday he ate through a nice green leaf and he felt much better.
Finally, the caterpillar was not hungry anymore. He was also not a tiny caterpillar anymore. He was a big fat caterpillar!
The big caterpillar built a house around himself, called a cocoon. After two weeks, he nibbled a hole through the cocoon and came out…
