Academic Plan Priority 1.1.3: Identify programs integral to the mission of SMSU and support the delivery of coursework in majors, minors, liberal education, and graduate education through external review, annual reviews, and the Academic Prioritization process.
Diversity Plan 1.1.3: Modify and re-administer the Culture Self-Assessment. Continue to determine professional development and programming opportunities.
Diversity at SMSU At SMSU diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique, and recognizing our individual differences. These can be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies. At SMSU, explore these differences in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. We collaborate to understand each other and move beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity contained within each individual.
Enrollment Management Plan 1.3.1: Develop a comprehensive university-wide Communication and Marketing Plan. 1.2.1 A: Implement the Student Success Plan with a specific focus and emphasis on the Academic Advising Plan.
Institutional Capacity and Effectiveness Plan 1.5.1: Develop a plan to foster positive student engagement in campus life through student organization participation, student activities, residential life and volunteer community service, and the Civic Action Plan.
Facilities Plan 1.1.3 A: Review the 95% Report with the System Office. 1.1.3 B: Share the final 100% Report with the campus. 1.2.1 A: Modernize space – Begin pre-design process for the fiscal 2020 bonding cycle.
