  3. Balancing Elements • Placing subject off center: • Adds Interest to photo • BUT leaves open space. • Include other objects to fill void - Keep weight distributed properly.

  4. Leading Lines • Use lines in image to: • Impact way people view the image • Changes the photo composition • Straight, Diagonal, Curvy, Zigzag, radial

  5. Symmetry and Patterns • Natural and humanly created patterns • Make images pop out, or can introduce tension.
