  7. November 2000, Scotland – Study Tour - 8 specialties

  8. Bishkek - Osh Conference on the development of clinical guidelines and protocols - 400 experts learned about the clinical protocols December 2000 working with a database January 2001 Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund and WHO data on mortality and mobility

  9. DEVELOPED AND APPROVED BY THE KYRGYZ MINISTRY OF HEALTH REGULATION ON THE COORDINATION COUNCIL Defines the development and the implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols in the healthcare secto of the Kyrgyz Republic

Council’s Functions: Defines priorities, needs, and scope of the guidelines Defines general policy and the program of actions Selects and defines the number of topics to be included in clinical guidelines Establishes the goals that may be reached in healthcare Involves working groups in the design, development, and implementation

Develops and introduces stimuli for the development and implementation Evaluates the development and implementation processAssesses quantitative changes in the clinical practiceReviews clinical guidelinesMaintains relationships with international and local organizations and sponsors, coordinates their work in the national healthcare sector
