DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS • Diplomas certified by the French government • A single European academic area that facilitates mobility in Europe and throughout the world • Academic year divided into semesters • Postsecondary programs organized into 3 cycles: Licence, Master, Doctorate • European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) • Addendum to diploma (in English) explaining the learning covered by the diploma • French national diplomas have the same value regardless of the institution that grants them
