Very short term tasks • Complete and publish the FEHES review report • Input from countries still expected • Complete and publish the FEHES recommendations • Taking into account the feed-back from this Workshop • Keep the end open to add new measurements etc. • National contact persons to keep relevant instances informed • Commission to submit a call for tender in May
EHES Pilot Phase I • Organize international standardization and coordination • Planning and preparation (including the local piloting) of a national HES in about 10 countries: • Countries with little earlier experience • To set up a standardized European HES • Countries with an existing HES system • To harmonize European standards and the old local standards • To give advice to the less experienced countries • Evaluation of the outcome • Takes 1-2 years per country
EHES Pilot Phase II • The full-size national HESs in these about 10 countries constitutes the pilot for the “European HES” • Plan and conduct a national HES in the remaining 17? Countries • Gradual change to the sustainable European HES system • Ongoing central support • Maintenance of network • Planning, quality assurance, evaluation of national HESs • Data analysis and reporting • Assessment and development of survey methods • Assessment of priorities
