What are Altocumulus Clouds? • Altocumulus Clouds are a middle-level cloud located between 6,500 and 20,000 feet ,altocumulus clouds are either banded o rounded in formation.
How do Altocumulus Clouds form? • It forms in the sky from water when it’s water vapor. Or sometimes the sky looks like it is filled with popcorn. The pieces of popcorn are actually independent heaping cumulus clouds that form on top of a stable air mass between 10,000 and 20,000 feet.
What do Altocumulus Clouds mean weather wise? • Many Altocumulus Clouds consist of supercooled water droplets. Perhaps haze or smoke could do the tricks.
