More About Digg • Introduced the voting system, which allows users to “Digg” or “bury” articles. • “Digg” - a positive vote, adds to score which controls where is ranks among other posts • “Bury” - a negative vote does not effect score • Enough negative votes deletes the post
Social Media Integration • Social News Website – users post stories that are ranked based on popularity • Users of Digg can follow one another and build personal profiles according to interests, etc (much like facebook) • Users can vote on other users posts or comments by either “digging” or “burying” • Other users can post comments, which are also ranked based on popularity
