TE and Kinetic • Using thermoelectric energy is easy and effective because it can be used anywhere as long as you have a heat source such a lighter. • Kinetic energy is a very efficient source of electricity because you just need to apply motion. • Combining these two sources will allow for easily accessible energy output.
Ease of use • Thermoelectric generators are easy to use as all you need is a continuous heat source such a stove or even a campfire in order to produce good amounts of electricity. • A kinetic energy source is easy to use because it just requires motion in order to work and produce electricity, this can be done with a crank or shaking and more.
Size and Width • A standard Thermoelectric generator (TEG) is 16 in. long and 3 in. wide or smaller. • Kinetic energy devices are usually very small as they are usually just the size of a flashlight or radio with a crank attached or a shaker inside. • It will be able to carry in a backpack.
Safety • The only safety hazard behind using a TEG is the heat source itself as a fire can be dangerous if not careful. Impact on the environment • Using this type of charger would be better for the environment as no batteries are needed that damage the ecosystem Economic viability • Using TE and kinetic energy would not be costly as they are relatively cheap and long-lasting.
