  4. AM Server AM Server Components • AM Monitor • AM Transfer: Download / Upload • AM Control

  5. AM Server AM Server Components Make sure you have AM Control, AM Download, and AM Upload running.

  6. AM Server AM Monitor • Hierarchy of how handhelds are distributed • Ensure handhelds are in appropriate gates and facilities

  7. AM Server AM Transfer: Download / Upload • Transfers information between AM server to back office • Be sure it’s running with “Sleeping” or “Transferring” status • “Ticket not found”

  8. AM Server AM Control • Defines handheld devices that are setup in AM Monitor • Lists by device ID or by IP Address • AM Control needs to run for the handhelds to appear Online • Ensure Device ID matches handheld ID

  9. Handhelds Scanners Handheld Scanners - Overview • Between event uses: • Keep handhelds in charging cradles • Keep spare batteries charged • Check for loose battery covers • Reboot each device and verify online status • Confirm or change profile in order to match the venue

  16. Handhelds Scanners Checking Venue Profiles • If Network Venue Profiles are not used, check to see if the correct venue is chosen by going to ‘Tools > Venue Profile’ and see if the correct ‘Profile’ is selected
