  19. General Lighting Tips • Avoid back lighting unless you want just a silhouette • Landscapes • best early and late in day • light is less harsh • Outdoor portraits • put subject in shaded area • use fill flash • Natural light is often best when available

  20. Practice--Put it all together • Consider all you now know and take several more photos • Knowledge of the camera • Lighting • Aperture and shutter speed • Composition of the shot • Be creative • Steady the camera and shoot
