How we helped Collected donations at the NSCC Women's Center for the Genesis Project, an organization offers hope for a new life to local young women and girls who are victims of sex trafficking - https://news.northseattle.edu/node/910 Posted fliers up on campus and around town, alerting the community about our efforts and collecting additional donations. Individually collected donations for the Genesis Project Created a blog and facebook page to raise awareness of sexual trafficking in Seattle Presented at Springfest to raise awareness of sexual trafficking in Seattle

Corporate donations We solicited funding and supplies from Costco, Fred Meyer, and Walmart. These companies are now making direct donations to the Genesis Project.
Springfest! We collaborated with the Women's Center, Student Leadership, and the Arts and Lectures Activity Board at NSCC to participate in NSCC’s Springfest. At the event we ran a table to raise awareness about sexual trafficking and sexual violence. We were proud to spread this message to our peers.
Springfest! At the table we passed out literature and articles while collecting messages of hope and encouragement to deliver to the Genesis Projectfor the victims. We were invited to give a presentation to an ESL and IEP class in the fall about sex trafficking in the Seattle area.
