  2. FictionFinder • An OCLC experimental prototype • Supports searching & browsing of fiction materials cataloged in WorldCat • Employs FRBR to build a “work” view & cluster related records

Inspiration • Functional Requirements of Bibliographic Records (FRBR) model • Conceptual model relating users tasks of retrieval & access to the structure and relationships of bibliographic and authority data • Developed by cataloging experts working under the auspices of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions) • Functional requirements for bibliographic records : final report issued by IFLA (1998)
