Method 1: Rename pepflashplayer.dll chrome Step 1. Go to Chrome’s installation directory and find PepperFlash folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\53.0.2785.116\PepperFlash). Step 2. Once found pepflashplayer.dll, you change its name to pepflashplayerX.dll Step 3. You restart Chrome.
Method 2: Using SFC and DISM commands on Windows 10 Step 1. First of all, you run Command Prompt as administrator. Step 2. Once Command Prompt appears, you type sfc /scannow then hit Enter. If the sfc command can’t launch, you type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth then hit Enter. Step 3. At this step, you just wait until it scans your system and fixes any corrupted files. Then you launch Chrome again and check if the problem is resolved.
Method 3: Delete pepperflash folder Step 1. Make sure that Chrome is completely closed. Then press Windows Key + R and type %localappdata% and select OK. Step 2. Navigate to folder Google\Chrome\User Data, then you locate PepperFlash folder and delete it. Step 3. Now you will update the pepper_flash component again. You run Chrome and in the address bar type chrome://components. Step 4. You will see the list of all available components. Find pepper_flash component then select Check for updates button. Step 5. All done! The problem with chrome couldn't load plugin should be completely resolved.
Method 4: Disable PPAPI Flash Chrome Step 1. In the address bar, you type chrome:plugins to open the Plug-ins page Step 2. Then you will see the list of installed plug-ins shows, select the Details. Step 3. Now you will see two versions of Adobe Flash Player available. Look for PPAPI Flash version then select the Disable button. Step 4. Finally, you restart Chrome and check if the problem is resolved.
Method 5: Disable Shockwave Flash Chrome Step 1. You press Shift + Esc shortcut to open Chrome Task Manager. Step 2. Once Chrome Task Manager appears, you find Plugin: Shockwave Flash, choose it and select the End process button. Step 3. Now you will see Shockwave Flash has crashed error message. Don't worry, you click Reload.
