  2. Method 1: Reset TCP/IP in Windows 10 Step 1. You run Command Prompt as Administrator. Step 2. When Command Prompt appears, you type the following lines: netshwinsock reset netshintip reset Step 3. Exit Command Prompt then restart your PC. This method often solves issues with IP configuration error, but if your PC uses static IP address you’ll need to set it again.   3. Method 2: Assign IP address manually • Step 1. First, you press Windows Key + X, then select Network Connections. • Step 2. Right-click your Wifi network and select Properties from the menu. • Step 3. Then you click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and select the Properties button. • Step 4. When Properties window opens, you choose the Use the following IP address option and type the IP address, Default gateway and Subnet mask. In my example I used 8.8.8.8, but you can also set 192.168.1.1 as your Preferred DNS server. • Step 5. Finally ,you click the OK button to save the changes. • Note: In this method, you can also login your modem and disable DHCP and configure it to set a static IP address to your PC.

Step 4. Finally, you click Apply then select OK to save the changes.
