The plan Aim: To develop an Arctic-Ocean-rugged and autonomous buoy capable of measuring atmospheric O3, BrO, and CO2 for a period of up to two years to ensure a full year cycle of high quality data. Test site: Barrow Test period: Fall ’08 – Spring ‘09 Deployment sites: TBD Data accessibility: After a publication period, all data and metadata in DIF format will be accessible to the full community via appropriate data archiving. • Education and Outreach: • Web site with near-real time updates of O-Buoys and data • Webcam images of field site • Barrow High School Chemistry program- field training • Ilisagvik College- field training for Science Support Technician program
