Friends of Mitchell Creek Catchment Landcare Group Inc • Highlights • Speaking at this 2012 NRM Forum is a good opportunity to tell you about the damage happening to our local Creek catchment: • Is the amazing co-operation and good will we have received since setting up our group 3 years ago. • Is having the Minister for Planning & the CEO of the Dept of C&I come along on a guided walk along the Creek with a local crowd, all chatting & listening. Challenges • The challenge is to maintain our call for Reserve Status and conservation zoning when there is rapid construction of an estimated 4000 homes in the suburbs of Johnston, Zuccoli, Bellmack and Mitchell, as we talk today.
