Boe-Bot Final Project Group 5 Inc. Members Matt Boozer Alex Czopek Kristopher Marconi Fred Orlando Matthew Sharr Zachery St. Germain
Introduction • The objective for our boe-bot is to have it maneuver through a small maze and then climb up an incline. It will then stop at the top, or as close as we can get it, where we shall have a small contest between another group to see who can get the closest to the top.
Our Lil’ Boe-Bot • Here is a picture of what our Boe-Bot looks like, in some AutoCAD drawings:
The Maze and its "Hill” This is a picture (in AutoCAD) of the maze that Boe-bot will navigate as well as the “hill” that it will attempt to climb.
But how will he do it?? • That’s a great question……..but we have a better answer. Most groups will try to do something fancy like having the infrared sensors on their Boe-bot or having an ultrasonic sensor to determine the walls of the maze, but our boe-bot is special. Our Boe-bot is programed to turn at a 90⁰ angle every so often. In fact, it turns around the corners of the maze! Once it successfully maneuvers its way through the maze, we have programed it to climb the incline up to the finish line on the top.
