Walt Disney WorldWalt Disney World is located in Lake Buena Vista. This is an amusement park and hotel made by Walt Disney in the 1960’s. It was made to be compared to the parks made in California around the same time.
FantasmicFantasmic, located at Hollywood Studios, is a night time show with a big outdoor stage with mist screens and actors. The show is a 25 minute firework and water show, with all the famous Disney characters.
Discovery CoveDiscovery Cove is located in Orange County Florida. You can swim with the dolphins and snorkel, all at one park. Another great thing to do there is to walk under water and see the reefs.
Epcot is located in Bay Lake, Florida. This is a Disney theme park. This park is space themed and has all different countries sectioned off through-out the park. The center piece weighs 16 million pounds. Epcot has the fastest roller coaster of allDisney theme parks. The roller coaster is called a test track, hitting speeds of 65 m/p/h
Universal StudiosUniversal Studios is located in Orlando, Florida. It was opened in 1990 with only a few rides. It recently has been re-done. A fun amusement park with roller coasters and fun rides that gives you thrills and chills for all ages, big or small. Now including the new Harry Potter rides.
The economy of Orlando is very good because of the big tourist attractions of the amusement parks, making the economy boost. For example in 2003, Orlando made 24 billion dollars just off of amusement parks
