Traditions In United States In Mexico: • Celebrations with family and friends • Decorate with Mexican Flag and colors • Traditional music, dance and food. • Celebrations occur in Puebla • Large parade – dress as French or Mexican soldiers • Vendors sell traditional Mexican food • Re-enactment of Mexican victory over the French Other Countries: • Canada has a sky diving event held every Cinco De Mayo • Island of Malta -- encouraged to drink Mexican beer Why do you think these are different?
