So why is this important? • Just under one in five Australians (18.5%) have a disability (ABS, 2011) • A further 21% report a long-term health condition (ABS, 2011) • And don’t forget, we all age as well…
Why accessibility? • There’s compliance issues and legal considerations… • Making a resource more accessible, makes it more accessible to everyone. • An accessible mindset and approach is not as hard as you might think.
