If a missionary should become very ill, it may be almost impossible to receive adequate treatment. • emotional stability. Pray against such things as discouragement, depression, loneliness, and homesickness. • adaptability to the field. Many times missionaries live in extreme climates and very different cultures. • protection as they travel, often under adverse conditions. • ministry to be effective. The Lord is able to open doors that are seemingly locked tight. • personal soul winning efforts.
