  3. What is wheel and axle • A wheel and axle is a lever that rotates in a circle around a center point or fulcrum. The larger wheel (or outside) rotates around the smaller wheel (axle).

  5. Our model is A bicycle Bicycles have large wheels so they go faster. When you pedal, you power the inside of the wheel. But the wheel's outer rim turns around faster and covers more ground, so your pedaling has a much greater effect. Description of how wheels and axle works A wheel, together with an axle overcomes friction by facilitating motion by rolling. In order for wheels to rotate, a moment needs to be applied to the wheel about its axis, either by way of gravity, or by application of another external force
