Wheels and Levers. New Lesson: ALL ABOUT ROLLERS!. What are Rollers?. A roller is like a wheel. It is a LOOOOONG round device that spins on an axle and allows things to roll on top of it. When you put many rollers together, you can roll objects across large spaces quite easily.

  6. Why use Rollers? • The central post office uses rollers to get all of the mail and packages from one place to another. Why would the use a roller conveyor system like this? • Why not use dollies?

  7. Why use Rollers? • Most factories move their products around their building using rollers. • WHY USE ROLLERS INSTEAD OF WHEELS?
