Lesson Overview • This lesson is created for kindergarten students aged 5 and 6. • DCPS Social Studies Standard: • K.2. Broad Concept: Students describe the way people lived in earlier times and how their lives would be different today (e.g., getting water from a well, growing food, having fun). • In this lesson, students will investigate photos and other primary source artifacts which give them a sense of how children from the past lived and how they are similar/different from them.
