Students beginning to learn from other students across the United States

  7. First Version of History • 2015 to 2020 Teachers beginning to build a data base of information that brings together ideas and concepts for teachers and student through out the country. They begin to identify needed resources for certain areas of the country and are rapid to solve them. • 2020 to 2025 Classrooms are now places of learning were information and data are available to students by the push of a button. Teachers are sharing ideas and having meetings about the needs of students with professionals around the world, to give students the best educational experience they can. Teachers have access to resources and professionals to solve problems and situations before they become problems in the classroom.

  8. Second Version of Education • School Boards around the country join teachers in making technology a priority, but have very little knowledge in how to implement it. • Learning Communities are Starting to be developed to share knowledge in the community and trough out the country. • Teachers are being recruited for their knowledge base and start to gain competitive salaries and this attracts more people to the educational field. • 2008-2010 Teachers are given a living wage requirement that all teachers must be paid a minimum of 2 times the average wage in their county.

  9. Second Version of Education • 2010 President Clinton requires that all Federal Title 1 Funds are spent 85% in the classroom (Teachers Salaries, Smaller Class Size, etc..) • 2010-2015 Students are given funds for computer in their homes and text books are given to students using disc which creates a savings to the school district of millions of dollars, and decreasing the time between the printing of new books.

  10. Second Version of Education • 2015 to 2020 Learning Communities become the norm in the class were students from around the country are sharing ideas and concepts. This breaks down race, economics, and cultural divides thought out the country. • 2020 to 2025 Learning Communities have evolved into Learning Classrooms that are being to be help completely on the net, and giving students access to knowledge in areas of the country that can not support a school district, or resources necessary for a up to date classroom or school.

With limited or no access to computers for students and limited to no training for teachers they have to use email, and letters which do not give the immediate feed back to students and teacher. This does not allow for the constant feed back and discussion the learning communities were set out to achieve. • 2015 to 2020 Teachers rely of different web sites to gain information and develop lessons plans available to all teachers in the United States, but few teachers know about the information or how to access it.

  13. Third Version of Education • 2020 to 2025 Classrooms are still pretty much like they were in 2007 with computer in every classroom that have limited or no impact on the student learning. Teachers are still trying to figure out ways of integrating technology into the classroom, but have no support from administration because they have very little control or influence over their own budgets or resources.
