Approaches to Assessment: Intermediate 1 • The Unit contains two Learning Outcomes(LOs): • LO1 take part in a job-related discussion in the specific language (Speaking) • LO2 demonstrate understanding of basic vocational texts written in the specific language (Reading)
Approaches to Assessment: Intermediate 1 (cont.) • Each Learning Outcome contains the following Evidence Requirements: • LO1 Candidate must: — make six statements and ask at least two relevant questions — be comprehensible to sympathetic listener
Approaches to Assessment: Intermediate 1 (cont.) • LO2 Candidate must: — show evidence of comprehension of text(s) — text(s) total maximum of 200 words — candidates may use a dictionary
