High School Graduation Mandate for High School The new 2009 Michigan Merit Exam) Three required WorkKeys tests will be in the next MME • Reading for Information • Applied Mathematics • Locating Information (new in March 2009) If all three tests are successfully passed at a level 3 or higher = Eligibility for a National Career Readiness Certificate

So how do we ensure student have better scores? • Oakland County is Introducing the KeyTrain curriculum • KeyTrain is an online learning system for improving WorkKeys basic workplace skills scores. • KeyTrain can be accessed online from home or anywhere (24/7) • Funded by Oakland Schools for Oakland County high schools (including alternative education)
