  1. Respect and Responsibility TORO LINK LEADERS What we are all about

The Committee • Asks the teachers and staff to select motivated and outgoing students to become Link Leaders for the following year. • We narrow down the students with interviews and another teacher nomination process. • We train the students on April Day and two days before Freshmen Orientation.

  3. OUR LINK LEADERS • Are ambassadors for the school-helping with Parent Nights, Open House, New Student Tours and Academic Tips for Success (in Freshman English Classes). • Will be helping teach HONOR CODE lessons during 2nd hour on August 20th. • Are MENTORS to the Freshmen class, not just on orientation day, but throughout the year. • Each month, they will have “get-togethers with their freshmen, implementing activities based on character education, as well discussing issues they may be having.

What will your personal teaching goals be this year pertaining to Our Honor Code and Character Education? If you haven’t any ideas yet, we do have some possibilities to help you discover some.
