MODULE 6 Team Movement Techniques SPEEDS OF MOVEMENT Deliberate (slow methodical/threat location unknown) Direct to Threat (Location Known) CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES (6) Stay Together 540° Cover Communicate Cover Angles Threshold Evaluation Speed 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 PERSON MOVEMENT TECHNIQUES Strengths and Weaknesses Demonstrate 1 moving technique each 180° Turns Solo (exigent circumstances, no immediate back up, actionable intelligence) 2 (tethered and side-by-side) 3 (tethered and side-by-side) 4 (Diamond, T, Y, Box, Heavy Head) 5 (Double Rear Guard and Special Skill/Knowledge) Prepare for Counter Assault Post Engagement APPLICATION & REMEDIATION Rotate Student Groups to different instructors and move into area large enough to have students apply movement techniques for 1-5 Responders. Once all students have participated in each movement technique, have students move to simulated shots fired scenarios.

Students should be drilled on deliberate search and post engagement entries.
