Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is reported to have said : "Compared to the communities that have passed on before you, life in this world is the same duration as the time between the prayer of 'Asr and Maghrib."     13. Count your blessings Allah has endowed me with gifts and talents I have to utilize these to my full potential, always doing the best I can. I have the freedom to make my choices My way His way or Allah’s way

    14. Time to Act from making excuses to providing ideas from focusing on faults to finding solutions from blaming others to analyzing ourselves

    15. Time to Act from making mere promises to fulfilling commitments from letting things happen to making things happen from the shackles of the past to the possibilities of the future.

    16. The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Three things follow the deceased to his grave; ahlihi / his family, maalihi / his wealth and 'amalihi / his deeds; his family and wealth return, only his deeds remain with him."

    17. To realize the value of ONE WEEK…… ask the editor of a weekly newspaper To realize the value of ONE HOUR…… ask the Layla and Majnoon who are waiting to meet.

    18. To realize the value of ONE YEAR…. ask a student who failed a grade To realize the value of ONE MONTH….. ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby .

    19. To realize the value of ONE MINUTE….. ask a person who missed the train. To realize the value of ONE SECOND…. ask a person who just avoided an accident. To realize the value of ONE MILLISECOND….. ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.

    20. Making the Best of the Present Spend much time dwelling in the past The present is all we have

    21. Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why it’s called …. The Present !

    22. But I don’t have time !!!! Gadgets to save time. Task that used to take months accomplished in minutes; YET life is more hectic than ever before,

Never ending occupation “One who wakes up with his whole attention directed towards the world is cut off from God, and God shall make four qualities to accompany him: knelt to pray but not for long, I had too much to do. I had to hurry and get to work For bills would soon be due. So I knelt and said a hurried prayer, And jumped up off my knees. My Muslim duty was now done My soul could rest at ease. All day long I had no time To spread a word of cheer. No time to speak of Allah to friends, They'd laugh at me I'd fear. No time, no time, too much to do, That was my constant cry, No time to give to souls in need But at last the time, the time to die. I went before the Lord, I came I stood with downcast eyes. For in his hands the angel held a book It was the book of me. The angel looked into his book and said Your name I cannot find I once was going to write it down... But just never found the time. knelt to pray but not for long,I had too much to do.I had to hurry and get to workFor bills would soon be due.So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,And jumped up off my knees.My Muslim duty was now doneMy soul could rest at ease.All day long I had no timeTo spread a word of cheer.No time to speak of Allah to friends,They'd laugh at me I'd fear.No time, no time, too much to do,That was my constant cry,No time to give to souls in needBut at last the time, the time to die.I went before the Lord,I came I stood with downcast eyes.For in his hands the angel held a bookIt was the book of me.The angel looked into his book and saidYour name I cannot findI once was going to write it down...But just never found the time.

    29. Time Management is Life Management Value five things before five; Value youth before old age, health before sickness, free time before being occupied Wealth before poverty life before death. [Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)]

    30. Live life to the full Life happens at the level of action, not at the level of thought, nether at the level of circumstance nor of emotion. "O Allah! Let us not be of those content to wait and see what will happen, but grant us the determination to make the right things happen." [prayer of Jalaluddin Rumi] "

    31. Living for Others Our lives are but part of a larger story. How do we contribute it? "Socialize with people in such a way that when you die, they mourn for you; and when you live, they desire your company “ Imam Ali AS:."

    32. Hurr’s dilemma – Between Heaven & Hell "I have never seen you so fearful. By Allah! If I were to be asked who was the bravest warrior of Kufah, I would say it is you!" Hurr responded, "By Allah! I find myself between Heaven and Hell, and I will not prefer anything to Heaven even if I am cut into pieces and then burnt!" Then Hurr raced his horse towards al-Husayn and joined the small army of the Imam.'

    33. You are Hurr – A free man The Imam cleaned the blood from Hurr's face and said, "You are Hurr (free man) as your mother has named you. You are a free man in this world and the Hereafter." (Nawasikh al-Tawarikh).
