  2. Abstruse The picture of Amanda describes the word “abstruse” because she is confused by the material in her Pre-calculus text book.

  3. Absurd This picture describes the word “absurd” because there was a sign that said, “No eating in the library” and Becca Loren was about to eat her apple.

  4. Bedlam The picture of Becca Loren describes the word “bedlam” because she is throwing magazines trying to create a scene of uproar.

  5. Belie The word “belie” is expressed in this picture because Carli Baio is dressed in disguise by wearing a black coat, and a red bandana that hid her face.

  6. Cacophony Cacophony is expressed within this picture because Mo Chalko is playing her drum and Becca Loren is plugging her ears.

  7. Callous The picture of Maddie Chandler holding up a sign saying “I just got dumped.” and Becca Loren holding a sign that says “I don’t care.” describes the word “callous” because Becca was being insensitive towards Maddie’s situation.

  8. Debilitate The picture of Diana Muzina describes the word Debilitate because she shows a form of weakness.

  9. Debutante The word debutante is shown within this picture because I’m going to prom in a fashionable dress expressing a form of “upper class”.

  10. Decorum This picture describes the word decorum because Carli Baio is showing proper etiquette by not placing her elbows on the table while eating dinner.

  11. Edifice The word edifice is shown within the picture because the image of Saint Clare is a complex building.

  12. Eclectic The girl in this picture is choosing from a variety of sources to do a project.

  13. Fabricate The girl in this photo is drawing some art since fabricate means to make by art or skill.

  14. Gamut This girl is representing gamut by the entire scale of emotions she portrays in the two images

  15. Hamper The girl in the navy shirt is being hampered by the other. She is being held back so she doesn’t hurt her friend.

  16. Iconoclast This girl is acting like an iconoclast by not respecting the bible by ripping the pages.

  17. Ignominious This girl feels very ignominious since she got a very bad grade on her assignment. She is embarrassed she got such a grade. F

  18. Labyrinth This girl is very confused in the many offices nearby her and doesn’t know where to go. She is in a tricky labyrinth.

  19. Magnanimous The one girl is being magnanimous by forgiving her friend who had just insulted her.

  20. Nadir This girl is in the state of nadir; the lowest point in her life.

  21. Obliterate This girl wants to obliterate the evidence that she failed her assignment. She is getting rid all the traces of it.
