B log in English and Scoop your ideas • Introduction phase • Familiarization of teachers and pupils with digital media, virtual worlds or games to develop / improve learning to learn competencies • Dicussion of pros and cons, when implementing such tools within classsroom • Discussion on the effectiveness of tools, their pedagogical potential in relation to transition skills and learning to learn competences • Teachers’ training / pupils` engangement; time management and scheduling
Implementing blog & scoop.it @school; challenges and experiences • Implementation • Two projects were implented at school during English lessons; the rationale was simple: • Encourage pupils to cooperate and support each other • Work as a team • Being creative • Learn how to face/ handle a difficulty • Work towards a common goal • Learn and improve English through discussion about subject areas interesting to younsters

Implementing blog & scoop.it @school; challenges and experiences • Both teachers and pupils were satisfied from the results of such projects and wish to have follow up next year • Pupils learn smoothly new things (both in terms of content and process) • Teachers realize that a new era of teaching has been established, • digital media, virtual worlds or games hold a central role • teachers should learn to work with such tools in an effective and creative way
