15 gifted and talented pupils, an equal number of girls and boys achieved 5 or more A or A* grades with many achieving 10 or more.

100% of pupils taking Triple science ( Biology, Physics and Chemistry) got at least a C grade also high A*/A grades achieved.
Outstanding A* – C subject results include
87% in Art, 92% in Geography, 100% in Music, 74% in RS and 75% in Sociology and 76% in Textiles.
96% of all young people at the school got 5A*- G including English and Maths.

Students will be studying the new GCSE specification.
All students will work towards gaining two GCSEs
They will gain a GCSE in English Language (Year 10) and a GCSE in English Literature (Year 11)
They will study novels, plays, poetry, film, spoken language, websites and other forms of media and non-fiction texts. 2010 Results:
KS3 – 88% Level 5 and above, 50% Level 6 and above
GCSE English – 67% A* to C
