Timeliness: In-house SAS-Based Tabulation System • Operating on SAS engine with user interacting through GUI. Users can specify the parameters using the click-and-select capabilities. • Process records and perform tabulations swiftly. • Produce tables in ‘publishable’ format and removes need for further formatting. The tables can be exported as MS Excel spreadsheet.

Data Accessibility: Different Types of Data Presentation • Besides tables and charts, Census 2010 data will also be presented in map form. • ArcGis is used to present the aggregated data in map form based on the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s Master Plan 2008 planning area boundaries. Vector information on land boundary is provided by the Singapore Land Authority.
