  5. ACHE Chapters are… • GAHE is an Independent, not-for-profit corporations chartered to: • Increase value for ACHE members by • Delivering convenient, close-to-home, cost-effective continuing education, networking, and career services

  6. Obligations of Chapters • Major Obligations • Accept all ACHE members in the chapter territory as chapter members with no added dues • Don’t accept non-ACHE members as chapter members • Promote ACHE membership, products & services • Comply with the Criteria for Chapter Status

Chapter Requirements • Conduct and Report at least 2 networking events • Conduct and Report at least 2 educational programs • Publish and Distribute Quarterly Newsletter • Chapter Leaders Conference Attendance • Update Chapter Website • Chapter Leaders Conference Attendance • Recognition Program Award Presentation

Obligations of ACHE • Chapter use of the ACHE corporate identity/brand • Rebate 10% of chapter member ACHE dues • Dedicate ACHE staff as point-of-contact and relationship manager (regional director) • Education, training, information, tools and consultation that enable chapter leaders to: • Plan and deliver education and networking events • Communicate with chapter members • Plan and provide career services • Recruit, advance and retain chapter members • Manage the business of the chapter
