  1. Data restore / Re-installation / pc-shifting

  2. Follow the following mandatory steps before data restore : • Ask Client to send a email at install@shilpisoft.comalong with following information: • Software Type. • Database Name. • Reason. • Lic. No & A/c ID. • A DCR will generate against data restore. • Inform to License Department with this DCR No to get the database Id to license database.

  3. To restore database do the following : • Delete exiting database. • Create new database with same name as deleted. • Tuned database. • Product activation.

  4. Delete database • Go to start. • Select Program. • Select Oracle-OraHome92. • Select Configuration and Migration Tool. • Select Database Configuration Assistant.

  5. Following window will open: 1. Click on Next.

  6. 2. Select :- delete a database. 3.Click on Next.

  7. 4. Select database to delete which is being restored.

  8. 5. Click on OK.

  9. 6. This message will display. 7. Click on Yes.

  10. 8. Database is deleting here. Note: Do not stop processing.

  11. 9. Click on Yes.

  12. Create database 1. Tick on Create a Database 2. Click on next

  13. 3. Select General purpose. 4. Click on Next.

  14. 5. Enter Database name. 6. Click on Next.

  15. 7. Select Share Server Mode. 8. Click on Finish.

  16. 9. Click On OK

  17. 10. Database creation in progress.

  18. 11. Enter password in each field (e.g. s). It is mandatory. 12. Click on Exit .

  19. Tuned database • Run licclient.exe and click on tuned database. Select Oracle Version Enter password (Password must be same as of Oracle database creation while installing oracle ) Enter Database Name Browse backup data file. Click on this button. Note: Make sure that database must be created before tuning database

  20. Do not close this window because data is importing here.

  21. After importing database file there will be a text document pop up and check the status of database import Message

  22. Product Activation Click here to Check internet connection Follow the following steps to activate product • Step 1: Go to package folder or right click on exe icon>>properties>>find target • Step 2: Find License file( Named: licclient.exe) • Step 3: Following window will open. Click on test-I net connection and wait for the message

  23. Step 4 : Following window will open. Click on Ok.

  24. Product Activation • Step 5: Select update license status

  25. Following window will open: Select New installation. Select Product Type. Enter database name. Enter database Id given by license department. Click on Get Activation . Following message will display.

  26. Step 6: Now Double Click on shortcut icon of capex10 and login into database (NSe1011)

  27. Step 8: And take backup of NSe1011 (i.e. Which data has been imported) After That inform to client that work is done

  28. data Restore successfully completed
